Hi! My name is Sahana and I’m volunteering for the Borgen Project because poverty is a critical issue around the world. Every human deserves the right to gain access to sufficient food and water, education, healthcare, and everything else needed to live a comfortable life. One of the most powerful ways to ensure everyone has basic needs is through working with governments to provide these supplies, and that’s exactly what the Borgen Project does. My interest for global issues stems from my love for law-making and my interest in how policy can help change people’s lives positively.
