Hello! I am volunteering with The Borgen Project because I want to use my voice to advocate for a more just world and help ensure that where someone is born does not determine their chance at a healthy and dignified life. The issues that matter most to me are the ones that ask us to recognize the humanity of people beyond our own communities. My work fighting food insecurity through Rachel’s Table, along with my interest in global humanitarian issues, has taught me that poverty is not inevitable, but that it’s a problem we can choose to address.
