I am volunteering as a Political Affairs intern at the Borgen Project because I believe in the power that advocacy has in affecting global issues, such as poverty and international aid. I also believe that advocating for changes in foreign policy is an effective way to address such global and domestic inequities, which have haunted us and continue to haunt us daily.
