I am volunteering as an intern with The Borgen Project to raise awareness for issues relating to poverty, global health, and human rights. The Borgen Project’s mission to increase support for policies that address extreme poverty across the globe is more important now than ever. Influencing U.S. foreign policy begins with educating ourselves on these issues, then sharing our knowledge – and compassion – with others.
