I am a writer for The Borgen Project. It is a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, United States. It aims to reduce poverty globally. I have joined this organization because I am personally dissatisfied with the term “poverty” and its effects on people. People who are considered “poor” are usually disrespected all around the world. Plus, they are affected the most when natural disasters hit. This is why I have resolved to reduce poverty as much as possible, and The Borgen Project will help me do that!
