As a writer and Journalist for The Borgen Project, I am able to share stories that have the power to create change. Through highlighting positive initiatives and real solutions, more people (such as yourselves) will have the opportunity to understand the resolutions associated with poverty prevention and global inequality. At a time when the world seems most disconnected “we are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” It is important to remember that no person’s life is worth more than another’s – real people are suffering the consequences of extreme poverty everyday. Behind every statistic are real people – families struggling to put food on the table, children growing up without access to basic necessities. I hope to use my writing to remind people that compassion, awareness and collective action can make a real difference – and it is your contributions that will further this. Thanks!
