Community calendars are a great way to raise awareness of opportunities to be involved with The Borgen Project. Many websites, including newspapers and radio, offer nonprofits free space (and airtime) to promote volunteers ops and events.

Getting Started

  1. Find Places to Post: Search for community calendars in the region that you’d like to post. Visit news sites, city sites, etc.
  2. Submit Announcements: You’ll want to tailor volunteer announcements toward the community calendar that you are submitting it to. For example, if it doesn’t allow volunteer announcements, you can create an event to learn about volunteer ops.
