I’m volunteering with The Borgen Project because I believe where someone is born should not determine the opportunities they have. Because of this belief, I am fundraising to help address global issues such as extreme poverty and the challenges vulnerable communities have to face around the globe. Understanding global issues has also shown me that the world is more connected than we often realize, and that positive action takes group efforts.
