Hello! I am a volunteer as a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project and am fundraising for this organization because I believe addressing global issues such as poverty is integral in advancing society’s knowledge of poverty-reduction knowledge. I am interested in global issues because I feel that it is important to recognize the disparities that reside in the world we live in and that global awareness empowers others to vote, advocate, and engage more effectively in our communities.
