I am volunteering as an intern at The Borgen Project because I believe that advocacy for global issues is something that should be pushed and brought more awareness to. These issues, such as global poverty, are something that millions across the world face daily. Nations such as the US should be more heavily involved in foreign policy to help combat these global issues, which is why I am fundraising for this cause.
