I am volunteering with The Borgen Project because I believe that nobody’s future should be determined by where they are born. My interest in public policy comes from wanting to understand how decisions made by government can affect people’s daily lives. Global poverty is a difficult issue, but not an impossible one, and through advocacy, we can help to create change. I am fundraising to support efforts that turn awareness into action to build a more humane world.
