I’m volunteering with The Borgen Project because I believe everyone deserves access to essentials like food, education and healthcare, regardless of where they are born. As a journalism student, I’m interested in how storytelling can raise awareness of global poverty and encourage people to take action. I want to use my writing and communication skills to contribute to that change. Global issues matter to me because decisions made in one country can affect lives thousands of miles away. Through volunteering and fundraising, I hope to learn more about these connections while supporting efforts to tackle poverty. Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot. Thank you for your support!
