I am volunteering as an intern and fundraising for The Borgen Project because I strongly believe in not just being educated about issues regarding global poverty, but also getting involved and participating in helping spread awareness and reduce global poverty. As I got older and gained a better insight of the never-ending poverty and corruption in countries all over the world, I developed an appreciation for those fighting and advocating for the issue of global poverty. So, I decided to get involved and offer my support in the battle to end global poverty.
