Through my volunteering with youth organisations, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that advocacy can have on people’s lives. Standing up for those whose voices often go unheard has shown me that even a single voice can spark change, inspire hope, and empower others. That’s what motivated me to volunteer as an intern with The Borgen Project. I believe that raising awareness is the first step toward creating a more just and compassionate world. Using our voices to stand up for others isn’t just something for activists or leaders: it’s a responsibility we all share as human beings.
