I am a Political Affairs Intern with The Borgen Project, and I believe that where a person is born should not determine their access to opportunity, education, healthcare, or a better future. I am passionate about global issues because poverty and inequality affect millions of people around the world. I want to be a part of creating meaningful solutions through advocacy and public policy. As someone interested in pursuing a career in government and public service, this experience allows me to help raise awareness about the importance of U.S. foreign policy in addressing global poverty.
