I am fundraising for a cause that is frequently noted but ignored, where I think there should be higher awareness for it. Everyone knows poverty exists, but no one acts on it. If everyone is a bystander, how would the world get better? I know what your thinking: putting money towards other countries when we cant even solve domestic problems? Well, it would surprise you to know that money to poverty ridden countries can be rewarding in the long run such as securing the US with a powerful trade partner! Think of it like an investment, not an aid! With less poverty, markets and trade open to new countries which in turn can help domestic markets!
