Hi there, I’m volunteering as an intern with The Borgen Project because I believe global poverty isn’t inevitable. it’s something we can change together. As Einstein once said, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil but because of those who look on and do nothing.” I want to reach out to local MPs and help influence UK foreign policy to become more accountable in supporting people in developing countries. Even if my impact alone is minimal, I believe that when everyone looks to make a difference, lasting change becomes possible.
