Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
During and after the 2016 election, I became hyper focused on the issues affecting the world at large.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’m choosing to volunteer to serve the poor, so I can gain a greater appreciation for the struggles other human beings are going through. I also feel a great deal of empathy for others struggling with poverty, and I would like to do what I can to help.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

  1. I’ve met an Olympic speed skater.
  2. I’ve stood within 15 feet of a wild moose.
  3. I’ve seen two presidents speak.
