How did you get interested in global issues? I became interested in global issues when I started to notice that we, as Americans, live in our own little bubble and do not realize everything that goes on outside of our country.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? I am volunteering my time to serve the world’s poor because I want to make a difference. I believe in being the change I want to see in the world. Whether my impact is big or small, I want to help build a better world not only for today, but for future generations to come after me.
