I am volunteering as an intern at The Borgen Project as I believe addressing global issues such as poverty should be a priority within foreign policy. Seeing the inequities within global COVID responses and nations ability to proceed with a vaccine rollout program only reaffirmed my believe in the importance of focussing on poverty as a global issue.
