I am trying to raise money for The Borgen Project. This organisation attempts to make global poverty reduction a key focus of rich countries’ foreign policy. I believe this is important as it is the morally right thing to do. Those who are fortunate enough to live without the problems caused by poverty should do what they can to help those in unfortunate positions. My passionate belief on this subject has been born out of the horrors that poverty inflicts on those who suffer from it.
