Name: Thomas Clark
Location: Buffalo, NY
Position: PR/Marketing Intern
Fundraising Goal: $1,000

How did you get interested in global issues?
I have always been interested in political issues and the differences in the ways people live across the globe. After taking a few college courses dealing with the global environment and poverty, my interest was piqued.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I believe that my time can be better spent trying to help others. By taking steps to positively impact the lives of less fortunate people across the globe, I will also be able to better myself as a person, while making a difference.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I am an avid fisherman with an interest in the outdoors and maintaining the environment.
