Name: Taylor Swift
Location: Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Position: PR/Marketing Intern

Fundraising Goal: $800

How did you get interested in global issues?
I currently am in Clemson University’s UNICEF club, and I took a great interest in your organization and their internship this summer because I believe in helping to end global poverty.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I believe that every child should have access to food, healthcare, water, and safety. I also believe in helping those around you as sort of a “pay it forward,” and that by doing this, people will go on to help others more and more over time.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love the ocean and going to the beach, so I am also a large advocate for recycling!

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. I will run any errands for anyone for a month.
  2. I will cook dinners every week.
  3. I will go volunteer more time to helping others in my free time.
