Tasha Johnson

Name: Tasha Johnson
Location: Surrey, United Kingdom
Role: Writer/Journalist Team Member

Fundraising Goal: £400

How did you get interested in global issues?
I’m an aspiring human rights journalist, and I’ve always had a keen interest in global issues and charity. I became involved in charity work due to my parents’ involvement, events and assemblies hosted while at school and my time in the Scouts.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I think giving back is one of the most important things we can do for society. Afterall, ‘happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.’ (Ben Carson)

Any interesting tidbits to share?
In my free time, I write both fiction and non-fiction pieces. For my non-fiction work, check out my online portfolio: https://www.nothingnewunderthesun.co.uk/other-publications.
