Fundraising Goal: £400

How did you get interested in global issues?

My family came from a country where poverty rates are one of the highest in the world and it seems that not enough is being done to alleviate them from poverty.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?

I have always been interested in educating myself more on the poorest that exist around the world and as to why their countries economy is continuously growing, but the poverty rate remains high.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

I have taken part in small fundraisers held at my school and also enjoy sports, such as swimming and baking as a hobby.
