I am volunteering at The Borgen Project because I found the story of how Mr. Borgen started the organisation to be incredibly inspiring. It seems to me as though he and the organisation genuinely want to help the world’s poor, and that is not necessarily true for all NGO’s. Helping eradicate global poverty is not as impossible as it sounds, and I would love to be apart of that mission, and fundraising is a crucial part of that.
