How did you get interested in global issues?
As laughable as it may be, I became interested in global issues through subscriptions on YouTube, and following people on Instagram and Facebook that talk about the concerning matters that occur around the world. As first-world citizens, we don’t see or hear about these issues as often as we should. From there,  I learned more about ways in which I can become involved with global issues and play my part in something cool and amazing for everyone!

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
When I first began to explore and see how I can better connect with the rest of the world, I truly enjoyed serving, raising awareness for, and fighting for causes that are for global crisis’ such as poverty and hunger. As a first-world citizen, I have more time and resources on my hands. I want to put the time and power that I do have to good use and serve the world’s poor. I truly believe that serving the world’s poor is the path to a future that we all desire, as it will lead to a world that knows no hunger or poverty.
