Position: Writer

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
My interest in global issues stems from my interest in political science; I think that politics and the issues we face are great opportunities for people to come together to improve our world.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’m volunteering my time to serve the world’s poor because having access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, sanitation, and education are human rights, not luxuries. As someone with unobstructed access to these necessities and the right to speak out against global issues, it’s my job to be part of the solution to eliminate global poverty.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

  1. I have two cats, Crookshanks and Toby
  2. I love to write, and I am trying to jumpstart my career as a freelance writer and journalist
  3. I have 5 older siblings
