How did you get interested in global issues?
Helping people, uniting them and being empathetic towards each other is something that I’ve always believed in. The urge to drive positive change in the world has helped me see myself as a ‘responsible citizen’ of this world.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
Be the change that you want to see in the world’ is something that I strongly believe in. As humans, our well being is linked to each other. So much of inequality within societies and regions, is something that needs to be worked upon. Having basic necessities is something that every human has the right to and need not worry about. I strongly feel that it is my duty and responsibility to serve the world’s poor.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I can speak more than 5 languages.
