How did you get interested in global issues?
I work a lot with children, especially those with socioeconomic disadvantages in the U.S. Having seen how that can impact a child in America, I got interested in children suffering from poverty across the globe.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
“Global poverty” sounds huge in scope, but I don’t think there is a cause or mission too big to tackle. If I can do anything to help even a single person in the smallest way, I think it’s worth my time!

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I really love Chicago sports, movies from the 80s, music from the 90s, and anything near the water.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. For $75, I will babysit for a full day or night!
  2. For $100, I will walk your dog(s) as often as you wish for two weeks.
  3. For $150, I will be your personal Uber driver for a weekend.
