I am often reminded how privileged I am due to the possibility of easy accessibility to helpful institutions wherever I go. However, listening to other individuals’ experiences, I realise not everyone has access to the resources we often classify as ‘necessities’. Henceforth, volunteering has been a passion of mine. As an intern at The Borgen Project, I hope to successfully spread awareness and raise funds to combat the increase in deprivation of resources due to poverty and ignorance.
