Hello! I am volunteering at The Borgen Project because I believe that the UK government should be doing more tp combat global poverty. The UK government has not only failed to meet the UN’s 0.7% aid target since 2021, but it has also increased ODA spending on domestic matters. This is disheartening and frustrating to see, especially in the face of current global issues. I hope to use my privilege and my voice to contribute to The Borgen Project’s efforts and put pressure on the government to prioritise tackling global poverty and inequality.
