How did you get interested in global issues?
On a family vacation to Mexico, I went to school with my cousin and noticed the poor quality of the school system in the village. As a future educator, I’d like to also help improve the quality of education not just in the US but also in other nations.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’ve always enjoyed volunteering and helping others and being able to make a difference on a global scale. It is an idea that I resonate with strongly.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

Random Facts: I am in the Army National Guard, I collect tsum tsums and I am double jointed.
