How did you get interested in global issues?
My interest in global issues stems from the possibility of dismantling them, changing the narrative of foreign policy and eradicating poverty on a global scale. As this aspiration is large in scale, it is possible. My work and interest in global issues is to strategically identify how federal funding, supporting initiatives and national mobilization can eradicate poverty.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
This is a issue that I hold close to me.

I’m volunteering for numerous reasons. Primarily, as the issue of poverty spans on a global scale, a simple phrase always inspires me, which I believe can inspire others— “Every Little Helps.” This simple phrase creates a invitation to lend a helping hand, to not shy away from the issue and band together. My only hope is that as I have answered the call, others will do as well.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I am a songwriter, poet and musician.
