How did you get interested in global issues?
I became interested in global issues through my interactions with people from all different walks of life. Every person has a unique story with their own personal struggles, and I love being able to learn about different cultures and how we can help people both in the United States and across the globe.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I want the United States to get involved with global poverty issues in order to help people from all over the world to get access to vital resources. There is so much that each individual person can be doing to help others, and I am overjoyed to dedicate my time to such a worthy cause.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I played volleyball in college, love living in Chicago, have never seen The Godfather, and enjoy volunteering to help others in any way that I can.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. For $50, I will read bedtime stories to you for 2 nights.
  2. For $75, I will send motivational videos for a week to you.
  3. For $85, I will be a singing telegram to a person of your choice to a specific song of your choice.
