How did you get interested in global issues?
My mom has been a teacher for as long as I can remember. Since an early age, I have had an interest in helping people in need. In order to make and create change, educating the public is where efforts need to begin.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
To help the world out in any way that I can. Serving the world’s poor takes great courage and effort, and I believe the world needs a bit more courage and effort.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
Hiking, drawing, and snowboarding are my hobbies. Tuning cars and writing have always been my interests. Reducing the world’s poverty and hunger is among my newest interest.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…
1. $50: Cook you a delicious meal
2. $100: Jump in to the cold waters of the St. Croix before or after summer
3. $100: Mow your lawn or snow blow your driveway
4. $100: Detail your car
