How did you get interested in global issues?
I learned about a lot of global issues during the course of my education, and I think it’s important for everyone to be aware of the issues that are happening.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’ve always been passionate about volunteering to help others. Interning at The Borgen Project allows me to help give a voice to those who are in poverty and improve their lives.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
Outside of the classroom, I am a member of my college’s cross country and track & field team. Other hobbies include making keychains and listening to music.
