Knowledge is power, so knowing the difficulties of poverty globally enables you to have the power to make a difference. I am fundraising for The Borgen Project as I believe that when one has privilege they should utilise it to raise awareness of serious issues like this. Therefore, UK foreign policy should focus on addressing poverty as one of its priorities. In doing so, this can lead to progressive social change.
