Name: Nicholas Bartlett
Location: Seattle, WA
Position: Content Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I have always been interested in helping people. Learning about The Borgen Project and global poverty has gotten me interested in global issues for the first time in my life. I am excited to learn more as the internship progresses.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I like to help people, and I believe this is a great platform to help a wide variety of people. Furthermore, I believe that I am blessed to be born in America, and this is an opportunity to help people less fortunate.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I host and serve at a retirement home, I coach youth basketball, and I am a writer for oregonsportsnews.com and grey-magazine.com. My goal each day is to be a blessing to other people.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $50: I will cook dinner for you
