Name: Nantenaina (Nate) Ellifritt
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio & Cleveland, Ohio
Position: Political Affairs Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
Being from Madagascar, I’ve seen first-hand how an organization like The Borgen project can make a real impact!

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’ve always wanted to use a political platform to help others in need.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I play basketball, I am a dog guy and I cannot wait to someday get a Doberman. Madagascar is my home country, and I love to paint.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $75: If you have dogs, I will walk them every weekend for a year straight (assuming you live near me).
  2. $200: Paint a portrait of you to the best of my abilities.
  3. $500: Will sponsor/promote any small business/idea you have consistently for a year straight.
