Name: Michael Fryar
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Position: Political Affairs Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
From working with those who are poverty-stricken in the United States, but it is a more global issue with local impact.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I have worked with the poor and impoverished for decades, but this is clearly a more pressing and important area with a greater reaching impact.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…
1. $100: A mention and thank you on my podcast.
2. $1,000 A minor character named after them in my next novel who will die a spectacularly gruesome, creative and amusing death.
