How did you get interested in global issues?
As I have grown older I have realized more and more that it is near impossible to be blind to the issues of the world. It came to a point where I had to decide if I was going to ignore what did not directly affect me, or if I was going to do something.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I want to do something in life that matters, and the best way I can think of to do this is by using my love for writing to advocate for others. What good is a passion if it is not used to accomplish good?
Any interesting tidbits to share?
Reading and writing are my main hobbies, but I also absolutely love the ocean and everything in it. Animals generally tend to make me pretty happy, too.
