How did you get interested in global issues?
As a women, I care about gender equality, as seeing women across the world being deprived of education or aren’t able to work because they are a woman is saddening, and I would never want myself or my daughter to have to go through this.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
My family isn’t from a wealthy background, so I know how it feels, thus I find it important to give back.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love sports, working out and tennis. I love reading and have an interest in blogging. I love cooking
