How did you get interested in global issues?
 I came across The Borgen Project and felt it was a necessary and incredibly useful organisation which highlighted poverty through the lens of Foreign Aid contribution, which I had not really considered before. This interest grew into wanting to be part in facilitating awareness of campaigning for the US to prioritise this issue.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I am volunteering to serve the poor as I would like to help those less unfortunate than I am, who do not have the same access to basic necessities in resources. I want to be part of decreasing the number of children in poverty.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I am currently studying History at university and I am particularly interested in learning about the socio-political relations between religious minorities in Mediterranean cities, in the late medieval period.
