Name: Matthew Hendricks
Location: Chicago IL
Position: Political Affairs Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues? I grew up poor and know what is like to not have food for days in a row. However, my experience could never compare to those who have less then what I had. I want to be the change that I wish to see in this world.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? With serving the world’s poor, we can help make the world a kinder and more gentle place for all. When a person does not have resources, they try to find a way to get them by any means necessary. I want to help provide those resources and create more peace in the world.

Any interesting tidbits to share? I am a Fencer.
