I am a proud ambassador for The Borgen Project; a great and needed charity which works to encourage the UK to put more of its resources towards foreign aid. Foreign aid helps developing countries to stabilise their economy, and in doing so stabilises the global community by preventing conflict. Therefore, the borgen project is necessary not just for people living in poverty but for every single global citizen. Global inequality is a massive and pressing issue and only by closing the gap between rich and poor countries can we ever truly fulfill our commitments to human rights and sustainable development.
