As a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project, I believe that the Global North needs to do more to address transnational inequality. Fundraising is a key part of our organization’s work because it ensures that we have the means necessary to lobby politicians, carry out research on global poverty and existing bills in the USA and UK that aim to tackle it, and publish informative articles in our blog and magazine to educate wider audiences on the problems affecting billions of people every day.
