Name: Maria Kaczmarek
Location: London, United Kingdom
Role: Political Affairs

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?

I became interested in political issues whilst studying criminology at university. As my interest in feminism grew, gender inequalities surrounding poverty and social issues became prevalent and grew my interest.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?

Doing something which creates a positive impact on others is something I value highly. Volunteering especially as my own country is facing economic hardship underlines the importance of eradicating extreme poverty on all levels.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

Apart from my interests in global issues, my main hobby is going to the gym. I love being busy and balancing work, gym, a social life and my volunteering.
