Name: Luciana Schreier
Location: Lima, Peru
Position: Writer

Fundraising Goal: $750

How did you get interested in global issues?
I come from a third world country. I’ve seen first hand how hard life can be for those who are not privileged. It’s been a big concern since I was young.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I understand I have been very lucky and my needs have always been covered. I intend to do something with all of the opportunities I’ve received and the skills that I’ve learned.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
Music is my biggest hobby! Listening to it, playing music (I can play more than five instruments) and composing it. Aside from that, I love reading and watching sports.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. Handwritten thank you notes
  2. Help your cause
  3. Offer my skills and services
