How did you get interested in global issues?
I became interested in global issues once I took a trip to the Bahamas. I was able to see for myself that there are so many people in this world who do not have anyone to fight for them, let alone help them find their voice. I vowed to help and speak for those who could not speak for themselves. I’m starting here…

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I am volunteering my time to serve the world’s poor because I want to help make a difference, and I believe the road to less fear and more peace is through helping Nations in need. Giving them access to basic necessities, such as food, water, shelter, education and better health care opens up a whole new market for the United States, which can help create more jobs and opportunity for growth. There are benefits for both sides when investing in other countries development–I’m volunteering because I want to help.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love to cook, meet new people, and go to concerts. I am also obsessed with the game of thrones.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $25: I will make you a specialty dinner (protein and style of your choice)
  2. $40: I will send you a custom hand picked all natural Shea Women body products gift bag (men/women)
  3. $50: Personalized thank you video + EAT apparel item + Shea Women gift bag
